D.Howick Tree Surgery strive's to be as compliant as we possibly can when it comes to qualifications, health and safety, insurance and certification. We are always checking current regulations with the relevant governing bodies such as FISA (Forestry Industry Safety Accord) and the FCA (Forestry Contracting Association) as well as having direct access to a Health & safety advisor when required. 

 

We are also a CHAS health and safety accredited business which gives our customers a peace of mind when it comes to being health and safety compliant.

All of our operatives have or are in the process of receiving FMOC training and certification for the forestry machines they use and all of our tree surgeons and hand cutters/groundsmen are NPTC/LANTRA qualified as well as having First Aid+F and Aerial Rescue qualifications.

We have a Health & Safety policy in place and carry out site specific risk assessments and a method statement prior to starting any contract.

We currently hold a 5 million pound public liability insurance which is raised to 10 million for roadside contracts and a 10 million employers liability insurance.
